Duo Pop for the iPad Review

As a family, we loooove our iPad. The only problem is there are way too many of us sharing it. I told my husband the other day we need to buy three more just to keep all four kids happy. Not going to happen!

That’s why I am so excited about Duo Pop for the iPad. Dup Pop was created by the brilliant minds over at Discovery Bay Games. Priced at $39.99, Duo Pop turns the iPad into a game platform that allows multiple people to play games at once.

Armed with a wireless receiver and four colorful controllers, Dup Pop allows you to play games downloaded from the App Store.

We tried two of the many free games: Guesstimation, and Highlights Hidden Pictures Countdown. Both were a huge hit, and my kids loved hitting the buttons to see who answered first.

The other great thing about the games offered, is that they apply to every age. There are games for kids, and games for adults too. In fact, the next time my husband and I have friends over, we will definitely be trying out the NBC Saturday Night Live game!

Overall, I am very impressed with Duo Pop! When we travel we always take our iPad with us. I am going to start bringing along the Dup Pop as well. It is such a great way to encourage family time together! A big thanks to Discovery Bay Games for letting me try it out.
