I have a secret.
Sometimes I use cases for tech products they weren’t originally intended for.
With four busy kids who all love their tech devices, I am always putting function before fashion.
For example, on a family trip a few years ago, I found that a metal lunchbox stored multiple pairs of headphones perfectly. Not a single pair was sat upon for an entire seven days.
Let’s not talk about how they all were broken within a few days of us getting home…
You get the idea.
So, I have come to the realization that with my family, a slim silicone case on an iPod or tablet is just not enough.
I want double protection!
(That sounded dirty, I don’t know why.)
So I am doubling up on the kids devices, and mine as well.
I am starting with the Camera Envelope by Built.
Padded neoprene on the outside, soft and plush lining on the inside. Heaven!
Now, traditionally this case is meant for compact cameras. Don’t get me wrong, it’s perfect for that.
But do you know what else it is perfect for?
Apple devices!
This cutie fits an iPod and iPone like a glove… with its case still on!
Oh my stars, I am brilliant.
Well, okay. Built is brilliant for designing such an awesome case.
I’m still pretty cool though.
And the next time my kids are carrying their iPod on the go, we will have double the insurance that no harm will come with it get’s dropped.
(Because we all know it most certainly will be dropped. )
(Repeatedly.)
(And I still keep thinking about dirty double protection.)
The Built Camera Envelop retails for $15.99, and you can learn more about it HERE.
Thanks Built for sending me this case to try our, and my sincerest apologies for behaving inappropriately.
Yeah, I’m not really sorry.
