Just a few weeks ago I got together with some friends I hadn’t seen in a very long time. Everyone brought photos to share of their kids; I brought nothing. I have a blog, one where I am constantly updating it with pictures of my children. Why would I carry photos around when I have a blog? And why have said friends not been following it? So rude!
Okay, reality is, not everyone and their dog has the time to follow my blog. I was so sad as everyone showed pictures on their phone, and all I had was about twenty photos of an old desk I was trying to sell on Craigslist. I seriously had a pity party and vowed never to be without photos of my family again!

What I adore about this app is how many different things you can do with it. Let me take you through some of the options:
The first thing you can do is take a picture, or upload one of your own. Now before you look at the picture below, let me just warn you. I have the cutest baby in the whole wide world.

No seriously, I really do.
After importing the photo, I can crop the image however I want.
Then, if you look below, I tag the photo with whomever is in the picture.

Because I had previously entered Lily’s name and birthdate, the app automatically keeps track of the age she is in the photo.
Um, that is brilliant. Especially considering that when you are a new mom, you are so sleep deprived it’s hard to remember what day of the week it is, let alone exactly how old your baby is.

You can also write a note about the photo if you want to. I love this idea for record-keeping! It’s like a photo journal or scrapbook.

Then, if you want to, you can use one of the many awesome and trendy filters to adjust your picture.
Oh my adorableness, there are nine beautiful babies! You’re going to have to give me a minute…

All right, I can compose myself for a minute.
I chose the coconut filter, and just look how beautiful she is now!

That’s it, I am going to send this photo to every single one of those friends. Especially the one that kept showing me a bajillion pictures of her stinkin’ new dog.

Oh, I just can’t get over my baby. I just makes me want to have more and more and more…

… pedicures.
‘Cause my feet look awful after being pregnant.
Man, I love this app. I am now fully loaded with over fifty adorable pictures of my kids to share with my friends. Maybe I will just go ahead and e-mail them all. They can study them before the next time we get together. 🙂
If you want to download the Cherish App, it’s just .99 in the iTunes store. Thanks to Two79 Design for allowing me to review this adorable new app!
