JBL Flip Bluetooth Speaker Review

Bluetooth speakers were definitely a big item at CES this year. Unfortunately, until just a few months ago, portability usually came with a big price tag. Well, the competition has begun, and Harman has come out with an entire line of not just affordable, but high quality bluetooth speakers.

This is the powerful JBL Flip. Priced at under $100, the JBL Flip is bluetooth compatible with smartphones and tablets.  With two 1-5/8-inch drivers and a built-in bass port, it delivers fabulous sound quality with exceptional bass – all in a portable package. The JBL Flip also boasts up to 5 hours of playback time from its built-in Li-ion rechargeable battery. It also has a built-in mic for hands-free calls, perfect for Skype, FaceTime, or regular cell calls with any bluetooth compatible cell phone.

I have loved using the JBL Flip with my iPad. My kids often crawl in my bed to watch a movie on the iPad together, but everyone is always complaining that they can’t hear. They were so excited when I pulled out the JBL Flip. The sound was incredibly clear, and it felt like the iPad suddenly had surround sound! The JBL Flip is a fabulous, family friendly speaker that sells for less than half of similar speakers it’s size. If you are looking for a portable bluetooth speaker, this is definitely a good fit!
