I’ve resisted this inevitability for quite a while, and it is finally time to just get it done! While I’ve never been much of a podcast listener, my sister has regularly tried to get me to listen to them. I just never thought I had time for them. Then Google came out with a new app for Podcasts, and I knew it was finally time to bite the bullet.
The new podcast is called Family Tech Talk (although searching for it in Google Podcasts, it will come up as Family Tech Zone, still working on getting that fixed). New episodes will be published every Monday and will feature myself, Sarah Kimmel, and my friend Emilee Elder discussing smart parenting tips and advice about how to manage a home in the digital age. We will also include any tech news that will be relevant to families.
Just for fun, we will also offer up our top 5 list of the week. Sarah and Emilee will each bring a top 5 list to the table of the featured pop culture topic of the day. For example, our top 5 movies that were TV shows first. In the first 2 episodes we only list our top 5, but from episode 3 on, we will discuss which of our picks will go into the ultimate top 5 and rank them. Who will get more of their favorites in the ultimate top 5 list each week? You will just have to find out!
From time to time we will bring on special guests, like teens and kids, and even parents who aren’t very tech savvy.
Episode #1 of The Family Tech Talk podcast is available now on ALL of your favorite podcast applications…
We hope that you will subscribe to Family Tech Talk in your favorite platform! Be sure to let us know if there are any topics you want us to cover inside our Family Tech Talk Facebook group!
