The Internet

MaddieMaddie is smart, she is very smart. And when it comes to technology, she’s got it down.

We were eating breakfast one day and she saw on the box of Froot Loops that there was a url for frootloops.com. She immediately knew where it was supposed to go and went to her computer and typed it into a browser and was playing games on frootloops.com before I knew it. So today I was uploading some recent pics from my phone to facebook, and she asked what I was doing. I said I was putting the pictures on the internet. She asked me what the internet was. I said it’s the places on her computer she goes to play games. She then said “like frootloops.com or ipod.com?” I then asked if she saw ipods on ipod.com. She said no. I asked what was on ipod.com? And she said iPhones. I can’t believe she even knew what an iphone was (since Hubby and I have Pre’s). I love my tech girl!

  • That is awesome. Lexi is learning about technology fast too. We watch movie clips and songs on youtube all the time so whenever I’m on my computer she runs up and asks to watch some disney songs. I use my Pre to stream music through Pandora too and she listens to a Disney songs before bed. So tonight I let her hold my Pre while listening to a song and she said she couldn’t see the picture (the album artwork) and tried using her fingers (multi-touch) to make it bigger so she could see better 😛 She is learning so fast haha
