Take Time to Make a Difference

I’ve sat around the house some days, WANTING to make a difference, but not really knowing where to start.  I got my 100 good deeds bracelet, and I was ready to take on the world.  For someone who works full time, has a blog, AND a house and family, it’s hard to find time to figure out what can be done out there in the world.  Sometimes it takes research into where you really can put your effort to practice kindness.  When your entire day is basically spend in one or two locations, and you see the same people over and over again, how can you get out in the world and help!

Lucky for us, there’s an app for that.

The Time Machine app on iOS (they promised me that Android is coming soon, and no, it’s not THAT kind of time machine!) has really done a great job in putting together something that will not only benefit the awesome world we live in, but can even benefit us!

Once you install the app on your phone, you can explore the different things you can do to help.  Once you find one you want to do, you click “do this”,

and then you will be given a list of tasks you can perform.

The first in the list is the first official project from Time Machine, which only has 4 days left, so you gotta jump on it fast!  As you earn “minutes” by performing the tasks you can be entered to win the prizes at the various milestones.  Everything from a meal at Costa Vida all the way to an ultra VIP experience with Imagine Dragons can be won!  The tasks range from super simple to way more complicated (like finding street team members and taking a picture with them)

It’s Time from Time Machine.

They’ve teamed up with Costa Vida, Arvo Watches, The Progeria Research Foundation, the Tyler Robinson Foundation and dozens of other incredible organizations to help you make your time count.

Download Time Machine on iOS for free to get the most of out of your minutes and qualify to win a VIP experience with Imagine Dragons.
1. Get the App. Time Machine is free on iOS. Go get it in the App Store.
2. Do the Time. Create real change, learn through experience, have some fun. This is your time.
3. Share the Love. Share your Time to support the Tyler Robinson Foundation, the Progeria Research and our other charity partners.
4. Enjoy the Karma. Learn something, help someone, create a memory or win rewards. When you give Time, you get Karma.

I really can’t wait to start my weekend off right by accomplishing some of the tasks on the list.  It’s like the best scavenger hunt ever!   I will be getting the kids involved and we’ll have a really great time!

Download the app in the Apple Store, and be prepared to start moving that marker on your 100 Good Deeds Bracelet!
