It’s September’s giveaway and it’s a doozy! LeapFrog wants to send one lucky person a goodie bag that will include a LeapPad3 + 5 game cartridges + LeapTV + 3 titles + 2 LeapBands–almost a $550 value! I’ll give you a quick rundown of what each of the goodie bag items are, and all you have to do to enter to win is submit your entry below.
LeapPad 3 + 5 game cartridges: The LeapPad 3 children’s tablet gives you access to the games, ebooks, ultra ebooks, and music in the LeapFrog app store. You can buy and download your content from the app store, or you can buy physical cartridges from LeapFrog or retailers. Since we’re talking about LeapFrog here, everything is very high quality and there are tons of educational games and ebooks to choose from.
LeapTV + 3 titles: This item is not even released to the public yet (as of the moment I’m writing this), so you will be one of the very first homes to enjoy this amazing device. It’s similar to the Xbox Kinect technology that allows for active play. There are three different modes, body motion, pointer (think Wii wand), and classic game controller. The titles available are educational active video games featuring some of my kids favorite characters–Sophia the First, Jake the Neverland Pirate, Spiderman, the Pixar stars, and many more.
2 LeapBands: I wrote a whole post about the LeapBand which you can read here. It’s like a kids activity tracker for parents, but for the kid wearing it, it’s more like a watch and digital pet game. But LeapFrog takes the digital pet idea into the physical activity realm by giving kids challenges to complete with their pets that help their pet level up and earn Joules, like stomping like an elephant or rolling like a log. Parents can sync the watch to the computer to see their kids activity levels on different days of the week.
