I am seriously so excited to share this app with you! It’s called Turtle Trek, and it is the first mobile game created by SeaWorld! Turtle Trek is a totally free app to download, and it’s compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad. A portion of all proceeds from in-app purchases go to the SeaWorld & Busch Gardens Conservation Fund to benefit animals around the world. Nice!
Turtle Trek is a fabulous underwater game featuring many of your favorite Sea World friends… including Shamu! This adventurous game is fun for the entire family. My four year old easily navigated the levels with the sigle finger tap play, and even my twelve year old son thought it was really cool!
The entire Turtle Trek game is full of beautifully illustrated ocean worlds, sea creature friends, lost treasure, and even a little bit of danger. Watch out for sharks!
The whole adventure starts with you as a newborn sea turtle on the beach. As you grow up and swim the ocean, you’ll meet friends and learn fun facts about them. But be careful! It’s not easy being a turtle! Throughout the game you must dodge predators like sea gulls, barracudas, and sharks of course. No worries, you can easily outfit your turtle with customized shells, and power-up with pendants and boosts throughout the game.
This app is not only fun to play but educational as well. Gotta love that! As you play you learn about various sea creatures and ocean life, and the app rewards the player with virtual stickers that can be compiled within an in-app sticker book. Such a cool idea!
If you survive long enough to meet all 21 adorable friends (including Shamu!) you will completely fill your adorable sticker book, and can show it off to family and friends.
The entire Turtle Trek game consists of 5 different brightly illustrated zones, full of unique challenges and over 30 in app achievements. I especially loved how the game was easy enough for all my kids to play, but adventurous enough that it took several game sessions for my kids to complete levels. There’s nothing more frustrating as a parent than an app that is completely finished after five minutes! Turtle Trek is definitely challenging for all ages.
