My New Gig, and a Little Begging

So, you may have noticed my lack of posting (or maybe you didn’t even care).  I’ve been trying to get my schedule all put back together after taking on a few new projects.  Projects I’m actually super excited about.  The first of which is that I am now one of the awesome bloggers at GeekBeat.tv and WebBeat.tv.  I’ve already written a few posts for each site, and I’m really excited to be part of the Livid Lobster team.  They have really been great, and I’m only sad that I don’t live closer to Texas to hang out with them some more.  Now that I’ve figured out my days though, and when I’m going to be writing my own posts, and my “beat” posts, and working, and taking care of my kids, etc etc etc.  Oh and there is a little thing like sleeping that I may be able to pencil into my schedule.  😉  Anyway, so that’s my first new gig.  The second project I’ve taken on is one that I can’t quite announce yet, but it’s going to be AWESOME!  Definitely stay tuned for it.  I’ve registered the domain name, and the Twitter account, and just need to get some content, and a site design up and we’ll be good to launch!

The next part of this post is a plea… my husband and I are in DESPERATE need for a car.  I mean DESPERATE.  I work in the morning.  Hubby works in the afternoon.  That means there is never a car at home, ever.  Which means errands don’t get ran, and the kids never get to leave the house.  My sister even has to pick up my daughter and take her to preschool every day!  So, I know it’s a pain, and there are hoops to jump through to vote, but we need it.  I’m pleading with you to go vote.  Thank you so much and I will very much appreciate it.
