If you want to be a tech mommy, then you have got to have the right tools! Here is a list of all of the tech hardware that I could not live without, and therefore should be on your wish list this year! Stay tuned tomorrow for my must have software.
Windows 7 – While technically this is not hardware, I’m including it in this edition. Microsoft really hit the nail on the head with this OS, and I couldn’t be happier. This is an operating system that will be around for a while, like XP. For most of you Home Premium will be just fine, but if you will be connecting to an office network then you may need to go with the Business or Ulitmate editions. I will be going into more depth about Windows 7 in later posts.
3. Logitech Harmony Remote – My husband and I have had a Harmony for several years now, and we could never use another remote! Again, I will be doing a more detailed post about this, but I’ll just leave it at once you buy this remote you will never use a different remote again!
4. PlayStation 3 – What is great about the PS3 is that not only will it play games, but it is a Blu Ray player as well. The first time I watched something in Blu-Ray it was Spiderman 3 and I told my friend as I was watching it that I thought Toby McGuire was going to jump out of the TV at me, it was THAT clear!
5. Dell Studio XPS 13 – A small laptop with a ton of power! I really don’t want a huge laptop, I’m a small person, and my laptop needs to go everywhere with me. This one totally fits the bill for me. Enough resources to allow me to do my job, but small enough for me to handle easily.
6. An Iomega External Hard Drive. I use my external hard drive for backups. It is so important to back up your computer, and with this portable one I can backup my laptop and our two desktops very easily.
So there you have it, the hardware I can’t live without! Happy Shopping!
