Family Tech Zone is the official blog and hosts the official podcast for Family Tech LLC. Sarah Kimmel, a family tech expert, and digital parenting coach created the company as a way to help families understand and manage the technology and devices in their homes. There are currently 4 branches of Family Tech LLC.
Through the blog, Family Tech Zone, she is able to curate the latest tech news so you only get the stuff that is relevant to families. Most families that are not on the cutting edge of technology don’t care about feeds and speeds on the latest and greatest tech. They just want to know what they should be concerned with, and what tech will help them in their lives. The website also provides product reviews, how-to articles, and advice on how to parent your kids in this digital world.
Family Tech Talk, the podcast, helps families with specific topics each week, and a little bit of fun with pop culture. Emilee and Sarah are both tech experts and have a cumulative of 25 years working in the tech industry.
Family Tech Rescue offers in-home technical support and advice. Sarah Kimmel is a digital parenting coach with over 16 years in the IT field. Not only can she help guide parents through the rough digital world, but she can also fix your broken computer. She is available for video consultations, or in-person technical support in Utah.
If live classes or events are more your thing, Family Tech Ed is where you can book Sarah for your event to help talk to parents about how they can manage their kid’s devices, and help them be better digital citizens.

About Sarah Kimmel
I am a Microsoft Certified IT Manager, Family Tech expert, and digital parenting coach, who spends my days taking care of my two children and working in IT Services in Utah! Technology is in my blood. I’ve had a computer in my house for as long as I can remember, and my Dad has worked for IBM, Dell and more tech companies than I can count.
I am a regular family tech expert on KSL News, local lifestyle TV show, Studio 5, and more. I have been flown to China, New York, San Francisco and more by tech companies like Lenovo, Verizon, Dell, Microsoft, Samsung and more. I have spoken to parents from coast to coast (and once in the same week) about how to manage their children in this digital world. I would love to help you do the same!
